About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Escrow Officer to join our team at Perpetual Title. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating residential and commercial real estate transactions, ensuring a smooth closing process for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Closing Process Management: Review and verify all information in the file is accurate prior to close, prepare closing documents, balance figures and closing funds, obtain funding approval from lenders and initiate disbursements.
- Escrow Assistant Oversight: Review the work of the Escrow Assistant prior to close and provide guidance when applicable.
- Collaboration and Communication: Communicate and collaborate professionally with internal and external partners to ensure title transactions process efficiently.
- Florida Notary/RON Notary: A plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as an Escrow Officer, with an in-depth knowledge of title insurance (both closing and processing).
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Technology Savvy: Passion for innovation and integration of technology and automation.
- Team Player: Team player mentality.
- Solution-Oriented: Must be solution-oriented and client-obsessed.
- Software Knowledge: Working knowledge of Softpro preferred but not required.
- Remote Work: Position is 100% remote.
- Technology and Equipment: Remote office technology (laptop, scanner/printer, monitors) provided by the Company.
