Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sterling, VA. As a member of a small team, you will provide facility support to a dedicated program building, performing routine maintenance activities and critical repairs. This is a hands-on role that requires a broad range of maintenance skills, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of maintenance duties involved in the repair and maintenance of buildings and facilities, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.
- Oversee and assist with the coordination of on-site contractors to perform outsourced maintenance activities.
- Work with management to identify and correct any indoor or outdoor items that may pose a danger to employees, tenants, or visitors.
- Required skills include 5 years' building maintenance experience, electrical experience, and demonstrated experience troubleshooting electrical, structural, and plumbing maintenance issues.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical facility drawings, Building Management System (BMS), and maintenance scheduling software is also required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience and a bachelor's degree. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Valid driver's license.
What We Offer
Nightwing offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $179,000, depending on experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
