Veterinary Associate

Northside Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated full-time Veterinary Associate to join our expanding and innovative practice.

Our facility is committed to providing exceptional care for a variety of companion animals, including cats, dogs, birds, and exotic pets.

Our clinic is well-equipped with advanced technology, including a comprehensive in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, laser surgery, digital dental radiography, and a rehabilitation suite featuring therapy laser and underwater treadmill.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of diverse animal species while adhering to ethical standards and delivering top-notch care.
- Perform surgical procedures and provide treatment for sick or injured animals utilizing standard medical tools.
- Educate pet owners on preventive care and offer guidance on home-care for prescribed medications.
- Maintain accurate records by documenting actions through client reports, logs, and patient files.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and eligibility for a veterinary license
- Comfort with surgical and dental procedures
- Preferred experience of two or more years in veterinary practice, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation:
- Starting pay from $100,000.00 annually
