We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Lineworker to join our team at Grant PUD. As a key member of our Power Delivery team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground transmission and distribution power lines and related equipment.

• Work under the direction of a supervisor or foreman to perform various tasks related to power line maintenance and repair.
• Perform work functions individually or with the assistance of other team members, including linemen, groundmen, and electrical mechanics.
• Keep assigned tools and equipment clean and orderly, and perform repairs and maintenance as required.
• Possess a basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough working knowledge of power line operation, maintenance, repair, and installation.
• May be upgraded to foreman or assigned to other areas, such as warehousing, transportation, or electric shop, when required and if qualified.

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Journeyman lineman card/status recognized by the District and Union.
• Valid Washington State Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
• Valid first aid card including CPR training, equivalent to the State of Washington requirements for industrial first aid.
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and exercise sound judgment.
• Knowledge and understanding of Washington State Electrical Workers Safety Rules and Regulations.

Must be mentally and physically fit for duty. Able to work at elevated heights greater than ten feet, in high noise/vibration areas, and in confined spaces or areas that restrict movement. Willing to work from a ladder or scaffolding and in confined areas.
