Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support the rehabilitation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by the physical therapist.
- Assist patients in achieving their maximum level of physical independence and mobility.
- Work collaboratively with the physical therapist and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises for optimal recovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Associates degree from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the State of Georgia.
- BLS certification through AHA.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position working days. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
