Salary InformationThe salary for this position is $4,000 per month, paid bi-weekly. Additionally, you will receive a daily training rate of $140 during the initial 12-day training period. Upon completion of training, you will be eligible for medical benefits with minimal employee premium contributions, as well as mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled History Educator who can make history come alive for students on a daily basis. This role requires a personable individual with strong social, communication, and organizational skills, able to command a room and work effectively with students of all ages.
Responsibilities- Present educational programs to students in an engaging and interactive manner, utilizing scripted materials and improvisation skills.
- Travel to various school locations throughout the calendar area, setting up and tearing down display equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including monthly expense reports and evaluations of schools visited.
- Utilize online company calendars for scheduling and itinerary management.
- A positive and fun personality, with a 'go with the flow' attitude.
- A can-do, helpful mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Strong classroom management and improvisation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and uphold company standards.
- A valid driver's license and reliable standard-sized vehicle capable of transporting equipment.
- Full-time/seasonal position from October through mid-June, with summers off.
- Casual uniform attire and affirmation from customers daily.
- No sales or work to take home after training period.
