Position Summary
Wind River Environmental LLC specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of municipal wastewater collection systems. We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist in various labor-intensive tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with diverse manual labor tasks as required.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Be available for overtime, including weekends and holidays.
- Participate in on-call rotations as necessary.
- Adhere to all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Implement safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries, recognizing potential hazards in both routine and non-routine tasks.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Work Environment:
Work involves exposure to outdoor weather conditions and non-hazardous fumes. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and engaging with customers.
Qualifications:
- Experience in excavation and pipelaying is preferred.
- Ability to comprehend instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as company policies, safety regulations, and operational instructions.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email and internet usage.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
