About the Role:

Under the direction of a radiologist and the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) manager, you will perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. You will be responsible for a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to render prescribed MRI procedures as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve patient flow and efficiency in the MRI department.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in MRI technology and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology required.
  • Currently registered as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) (R) with ARRT.
  • Candidate will have one (1) year from hire date to become registered in Computed Tomography (CT) from ARRT.
