Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Estes Park Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients, working collaboratively with other medical personnel to achieve organizational goals, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and appropriateness of exam
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks as required
  • Ensure MRI rooms are clean, organized, and safe for patient examination
  • Manage patients independently with a high degree of professional care, tact, and courtesy
  • Ensure patient safety at all times while in the Diagnostic Imaging Department
  • Administer contrast material as necessary
  • Screen staff and family members for MRI safety prior to entering MRI zone 3 and 4
  • Assume responsibility for general departmental neatness and cleanness
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • At least two years' experience as a staff technologist with MRI experience
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
