Job Summary
The University of Indianapolis is seeking a highly qualified Academic Faculty Member to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing. This is a full-time, 10-month, on-campus, in-person faculty position with a 27-credit hour load requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach didactic and clinical instruction within the content area of expertise in the undergraduate programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment plans.
- Participate in service to the School of Nursing, University, and community.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication.
- Provide academic advising to students.
Requirements
- Must have three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- An earned master's degree (doctorate strongly preferred) in nursing. If incumbent holds a master's degree, must obtain a doctorate within 5 years of hire.
- Unencumbered RN license in the State of Indiana.
