Cafe Server

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cafe Server to join our team at Hilltop Ski Area. As a Cafe Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking and filling food and beverage orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

• Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests
• Take and fill food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Read tickets, pull product from the window, and coordinate with grill cooks to ensure timely service
• Prepare and serve food and beverages, including making coffee drinks and filling beer and wine orders
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
• Handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
• Assist with dishwashing and other duties as needed

• Knowledge of over-the-counter retail sales and point-of-sale systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to make change
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures

The physical demands of this position include standing for long periods, frequent reaching, bending, and lifting. The employee must be able to lift and carry tubs and cases weighing up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to hazards, including cuts from knives, slipping, tripping, and burns.
