Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging and Patient Care
    • Perform CT scans as directed by the radiologist, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
    • Position patients accurately for optimal imaging results.
  • Procedure Management
    • Identify patients and procedures, and communicate with nursing and physician teams as needed.
    • Fill out necessary questionnaires and forms for patients undergoing CT scans.
    • Prepare and maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adequate supplies and linens are available.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for CT scanning procedures.
    • Perform warm-up calibrations as needed to ensure optimal imaging quality.
    • Recognize and report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor or in-charge technologist.
  • Collaboration and Training
    • Train and assist other technologists and students as needed.
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competency and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • ARRT certification in CT
    • SCQRSA license
  • Education and Experience
    • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
    • Experience in CT scanning and diagnostic imaging
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Basic computer skills and data entry
    • Knowledge of office equipment and 3D imaging
Work Environment

This is a night shift position at our Greenville Memorial Medical Campus location.
