Job Summary

Are you a skilled fabricator looking for a challenging role that offers a competitive salary and opportunities for growth? Capital Welding Inc is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Fabrication Specialist.

In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating steel and iron structural pieces and components for various projects, including commercial buildings, bridges, and highways. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

* Interpret blueprints, plans, and written specifications to select the appropriate materials and quantities for a project.
* Follow written plans and instructions from supervisors to ensure that all projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
* Build steel or iron structural pieces and components using various fabrication techniques.
* Ensure proper placement, balance, and alignment of structural pieces using levels and laser tools.
* Transform metal pieces into functional elements that meet the guidelines of the project.
* Access challenging work positions that are either at elevation or otherwise difficult to reach while following OSHA regulations.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Completion of welding certification or comparable experience in the field.
* Plasma table experience preferred.
* Knowledge of various types of materials and their properties.
* Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
