Job Summary:
Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Stepdown to join our team. As a Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Stepdown, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Cardiac Stepdown setting. This is a 13-week assignment with a 36-hour workweek, working 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend rotation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in a Cardiac Stepdown setting
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Stepdown
- Current RN license in Missouri or Compact State
- ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC certifications preferred
- Experience with titrating drips, pre or post cardiac cath patients, and sheaths
- Ability to float to other units as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8 cardiac and 8 stroke CEUs
