We are seeking a dedicated **Neurohospitalist** to provide exceptional care for patients with a variety of acute neurological conditions. This role is essential in managing cases within the **Emergency Department**, as well as on medical and surgical floors, including intensive care units.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations and provide comprehensive care for patients experiencing acute neurological issues.
- Participate in a structured schedule consisting of **24 weeks** of inpatient coverage annually.
- Engage in a week-long shift defined as **7 consecutive days** from **8 AM to 8 PM**, including shared evening call responsibilities.
- Utilize Tele-neurology services for weekend evening coverage.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to residents, students, fellows, and advanced practice providers.
- Demonstrate proficiency in acute stroke management.
Opportunities for professional growth include participation in various educational sessions such as **weekly Grand Rounds**, a **monthly Neurohospitalist lecture series**, and a **monthly EEG teaching conference**.
