Job Summary:

As a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as directed by physicians. Your primary objective will be to produce high-quality images of internal body tissues to diagnose and monitor various conditions, including heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. Additionally, you will supervise and mentor ultrasound personnel, ensuring the maintenance of equipment and adherence to strict quality control standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced ultrasonic diagnostic equipment to capture high-quality images of internal body tissues.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement diagnostic plans, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Supervise and mentor ultrasound personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain equipment and adhere to strict quality control standards, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Document and record patient information, images, and findings, adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate from an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Current certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), or Vascular (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
