Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Counseling: Perform biopsychosocial assessments and provide counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
- Collaboration and Advocacy: Collaborate with other professionals to assess client needs or treatment plans, and advocate for clients or patients to resolve crisis situations.
- Referral and Case Management: Refer patients, clients, or families to community resources to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness, and provide access to services such as financial assistance, legal aid, housing, job placement, or education.
- Licensure and Education: Licensure in the state of New Mexico is required, including a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling.
- Experience and Registration: State registration is required, and a minimum of 1-3 years' experience in Social Work/Case Management/Counseling is preferred.
