Position: Production Associate I / MIG Welder
Location: Hartselle, AL
Wage: $23.74/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel to create finished products, working with materials ranging from 16GA to 1/4" thick, including occasional 3/4" plates.
• Handle flat bars from 3/16" to 1 1/2" thick and structural tubing from 1 1/4" square to 3" x 4" rectangle.
• Fit and form components for welding as required by specific tasks.
• Conduct inspections and grinding as necessary for quality assurance.
• Lift and maneuver items weighing between 30-50 pounds.

Essential Skills:

• Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout all operations.
• Collaborate effectively with various functions within the facility, including safety, quality, maintenance, and management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area following 5S principles.
• Execute MIG welding using .045 wire, proficiently performing fillet and butt joints.
• Interpret drawings and route sheets to ascertain job requirements accurately.
• Demonstrate flexibility as training will encompass multiple roles and welding positions.
