About the Role:

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop commercial water chilling systems through the integration of mechanical system designs into chiller and split system new product development programs. This involves developing solutions that meet local and global market needs by integrating multiple technologies in the product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop thermodynamic-based models and optimize chiller system design, fluid filtration, and pumping systems.

• Collaborate with service and operations teams to effectively launch designs into production.

• Design chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds product development requirements.

• Conduct product design performance, capability, and reliability testing in engineering product test laboratories.

• Work with product marketing teams to develop product requirements and ensure the product meets their needs when launched.

• Execute tests for systems, sub-systems, and components, analyzing test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives.

• Follow all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of systems engineering experience.

• Project leadership experience is preferred.

• Experience in new product development, service, and/or aftermarket spaces is preferred.

• Strong communication skills, primarily in English.

• Leadership and teamwork skills are required.
