Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic surgical team. This role requires adherence to a strict 75-mile straight line radius rule, and candidates must be aware of their submission to our facility.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist in surgical procedures with a focus on ortho, ENT, and vascular specialties.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including on-call and weekend requirements as needed.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a current BLS certification, ideally through the American Heart Association or equivalent. Experience with NBSTSA or similar certification is preferred but not mandatory.


Work Schedule:

Shifts may vary, with start times at either 0645 or 0900, typically comprising 10-hour shifts. Weekend and holiday coverage will be required as part of the role.


Orientation and Training:

Orientation will occur during the first week of the contract, not exceeding 40 hours, and will include training on the EPIC system.


Additional Information:

Scrubs are required and are not provided by the facility. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting and be currently licensed.
