We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team of educators and specialists in Suffolk, Virginia. This is a full-time contract position with guaranteed hours and competitive hourly rates.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing direct therapy services. They will also monitor and document student progress, collaborate with teachers and school staff, and educate parents on strategies to support their child's communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active Virginia SLP licensure
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred
  • Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
