This position is eligible for Eskaton's health benefits package the first of the month following 60 days of employment and Paid Time Off benefits program after 90 days of employment.

Job Summary

The Dishwasher Assistant is responsible for assisting with the set-up and break down of buffet tables and wait stations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, and maintaining the kitchen area in a clean and orderly fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the set-up and break down of meals
  • Washes dishes in accordance with ware washing policy, maintains dish machine and sanitization logs
  • Assists Supervisor/Manager/Director in assigned tasks as directed
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the department in accordance with posted cleaning schedule
  • Reports damage or problems to Supervisor/Maintenance
  • Keeps supervisor/manager informed of questions, reactions, comments, or problems that may arise
  • Familiar with food service disaster plan

Qualifications

  • High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D., preferred
  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred
  • Understands the philosophy of quality customer service and customer satisfaction
