Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Health Principal Consultant to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our Federal Consulting team, you will play a critical role in designing, configuring, and implementing Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) solutions for federal agencies, including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs, and Indian Health Service.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned consultant with a strong background in healthcare information technology (HCIT) and experience working with Oracle Health products. As a Principal Consultant, you will work independently to provide high-quality solutions to our clients, leveraging your expertise in HCIT, Oracle methodology, and company procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients on service line workflow and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts.
  • Provide solution oversight, direction, and expertise to stakeholders.
  • Drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients.
  • Mitigate solution risks and issues.
  • Execute workflow and process improvement strategies.
  • Lead client meetings and events.
  • Drive internal team initiatives.
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of combined related work experience and completed higher education.
  • At least 2 years of HCIT consulting, HCIT support, and/or other client-facing or IT solution work experience.
  • 5+ years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles, including knowledge and experience with Oracle Health Oncology products.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts.
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position.
