South Shore Health PACU Nursing Assistant II Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Nursing Assistant II to join our team at South Shore Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and support in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
About the Role:- Direct Patient Care: Assist with patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and documentation under the supervision of licensed personnel.
- Phlebotomy: Perform venipuncture, finger stick, and heel stick procedures according to established protocols.
- Patient Safety: Identify and report any potential safety risks or concerns, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- BLS Certification: Maintain current Basic Life Support certification.
- Clinical Knowledge: Possess basic medical terminology knowledge and demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with hospital software applications and ability to learn new technology.
