Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Coatings Specialist to join our team at PLANIT Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and determining the proper type of paint materials and their reducers, as well as operating and maintaining various types of painting, spraying, and dipping equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selects and determines the proper type of paint materials and their reducers.
  • Operates and maintains all types of automatic and non-automatic painting, spraying, and dipping equipment.
  • Applies knowledge of pigments, oils, solvents, etc. for mixing of paints to desired specifications.
  • Follows instructions to mark fabricated components using silk screen, stencil, or pad printing methods and various types of inks or paints in accordance with manufacturing instructions.
  • Selected candidate will use solvents and aqueous cleaners, or abrasive blasting to clean parts, mask/unmask painted parts, apply localized tin plating, and light mechanical assembly.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of pigments, oils, solvents, etc.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of painting, spraying, and dipping equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
