The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Industrial Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing lump sum, unit rate, and cost-plus estimates for electrical projects. Your expertise will be aligned with our 3 market sectors: Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct conceptual estimating, cost analysis, and estimate coordination and consolidation.
- Review design scope and develop quantities for electrical projects.
- Perform productivity analysis of estimates, prepare contingency, escalation, and reconciliations for estimates.
- Prepare contingency, escalation, and reconciliations for estimates.
- Compare scope, quantities, and cost data between projects.
- Develop management presentations and estimate basis.
- Update and maintain historical cost data.
- Review designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and change management.
- 6 to 20 years of relevant experience, including estimating experience.
- BS or MS graduate in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Field and/or project experience a plus.
