Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting electrical and mechanical aspects of electrical/electronic equipment, including wiring harnesses, layout drawings, and schematic diagrams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and draft electrical and mechanical aspects of electrical/electronic equipment
  • Perform layout drawing and checking of schematic diagrams
  • Select LRU/wiring harness components, including electrical connectors, wire, shielding, and terminal lugs
  • Produce schematic diagrams and/or CAD drawings for submission to customers, plant, operations, or outside vendors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in a relevant technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 9 years experience, or relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus an additional 5 years experience
  • Working knowledge of electrical engineering and electro-mechanical engineering tools
  • US Citizenship
  • 5 years of Creo Design experience
  • Experience working with electrical/electronic systems of military ground vehicles
