Structural Welder

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our team at Lexicon, Inc. As a Structural Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, building, and installing various types of metal structures and equipment for facility maintenance and installation programs. This role requires a skilled individual who can use welding techniques to assemble and repair metal structures and equipment, and ensure that all welds meet the required standards.

This position involves working with machinery to complete assigned jobs and coordinating shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after metal installation. The Structural Welder will also develop and maintain records for projects and repairs, as well as maintain a clean and orderly workspace.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school education or equivalent, along with successful completion of an apprenticeship or a three-year, in-company training program. You must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand, bend, kneel, and walk for long periods. Additionally, you should be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations and a dusty/noisy work environment.
