Job Title: Lead Registered Nurse

Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our Clinic Management Team, you will provide administrative leadership to our clinical team and play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and supervision to our nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to improve patient outcomes and promote professional development.
  • Collaborate with our Nursing Director, Practice Administrator, and Lead Provider to ensure that our clinical team is working effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide direct nursing services in the clinical setting and in specialty clinics as assigned.
  • Manage the Team Directed Care and Chronic Clinic, as required.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary teams with member hospitals and county agencies for continuity of care.
  • Develop and modify the nursing schedule, coordinating with provider schedule and clinic needs.
  • Assign daily duties to site-specific nursing staff.
  • Serve as a member of the clinic management team (CMT).
  • Work in direct clinic care the majority of the time. Will have assigned administrative time.
  • Ensure the orientation and training of new staff.
  • Supervise site nursing staff.
  • Conduct competency and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor on a regular basis the competency of new nursing staff.
  • Ensure nursing protocols are fully implemented in daily practice. Works with the Nursing Director and clinical management team to ensure protocols are updated based on standard of care and best practices.
  • Ensure nursing duties in preventative and disease management protocols are fully implemented.
  • Float to other clinic sites upon request to meet staffing and coverage needs.
  • Triage Role - Performs all Triage Nurse Functions.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (BSN preferred) with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar capacity.
  • Working knowledge of data processing equipment, computers, telephones, and such typical office machines and equipment.
  • Effective written and oral communication and English skills.
  • Current North Carolina RN License, CPR certification, Venipuncture certification, IV Certification, and a NC driver's license for occasional travel.
