Job Title:
Mohs Surgeon

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mohs Surgeon to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. As a Mohs Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating skin cancer patients using the Mohs micrographic surgery technique.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Mohs micrographic surgery procedures to remove skin cancer lesions with precision and minimal tissue loss

• Conduct preoperative consultations and evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical history and discussing treatment options

• Interpret histopathology slides to ensure complete removal of cancerous tissue during surgery

• Coordinate with dermatopathologists for timely processing and analysis of tissue specimens

• Provide postoperative care and follow-up appointments to monitor patient recovery and outcomes

• Educate patients and their families about skin cancer prevention, treatment options, and postoperative care instructions

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases

Qualifications:

• Board certification or eligibility in dermatology and/or Mohs surgery

• Completion of accredited Mohs surgery fellowship program

• Current state medical license and DEA registration

• Strong surgical skills and experience in Mohs micrographic surgery techniques

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and achieving optimal surgical outcomes

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
