Position Overview: The Building Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating various elements of construction projects. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and will involve regular travel to project sites for direct oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality benchmarks.
  • Prepare detailed reports following site visits, documenting any discrepancies or issues that require attention.
  • Engage in effective communication with contractors, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns that arise during the construction phase.
  • Collaborate with architects and project teams to ensure alignment and timely progression of all project components.
  • Assist in the resolution of construction-related challenges or disputes that may surface.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient in computer use, including typing reports and managing correspondence.

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits (transportation will be provided by the firm).

Education and Experience:

A background in construction management, architecture, or a related discipline is preferred. Previous experience in construction coordination or a similar capacity is advantageous.
