The Johnson County Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to assigned patients, adhering to established standards of evidence-based practice and organizational policy and procedures.
- Practice autonomously within the scope of professional standards and the rules and regulations established by the TN and/or VA State Board of Nursing.
- Delegate care provision to other members of the nursing care team consistent with role, licensure and scope of practice.
- Perform nursing assessments and deliver care as an integral part of the care team.
- Accurately report and document in the Electronic Medical Record and electronic documentation systems that support the RN's clinical and team member role.
- Maintain current clinical knowledge and competency for skills related to the clinical RN role where assigned.
- Participate in patient care quality and performance improvement through data collection and aggregation as assigned.
- Associate's degree or diploma from an accredited Nursing program required.
- Valid and active RN licensure from appropriate state.
- AHA BLS certification Required ACLS, PALS, NRP required dependent upon area.
- Shift: Day
- On Call: No
- Weekends: Rotating
- Travel Required: No Travel
