Job Description

The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This role also includes serving as a preceptor for new hires and ensuring strong communication with physicians to deliver excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
  2. Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
  3. Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
  • Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
  • Basic Life Support Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire

Compensation and Benefits

  • $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
