Dietetic Technician
Per Diem Role
The Parker Jewish Institute, a leading facility in health care and rehabilitation, is in search of per diem Dietetic Technicians to enhance our skilled nursing services. As a crucial member of our health care team, you will deliver essential nutrition services that contribute significantly to the residents' overall health and wellbeing.
Availability for the 12:00pm to 8:00pm shift is preferred.
Dietetic Technicians collaborate closely with dietary and nutrition services, as well as the interdisciplinary care team, to ensure exceptional care for our patients and residents.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Receiving, verifying, and ensuring the accuracy of all dietary orders.
- Providing menus to new admissions.
- Retrieving communication sheets as necessary.
- Adjusting resident/patient menus based on therapeutic requirements.
- Assisting residents/patients with menu selections as needed.
- Entering menus into the Geri Menu nutrition software.
- Posting weekly menus on the units.
- Printing and organizing daily meal tickets.
