We are seeking an experienced and visionary AWS Data Lakehouse End-to-End Data Management Lead to oversee the comprehensive data management strategy for our data lakehouse in AWS Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Metadata Management: Design and implement a robust metadata management framework, ensuring comprehensive data tagging and classification across the data lakehouse.
  • Data Catalogs and Lineage: Develop and manage technical and business data catalogs that provide clear, accessible views of data assets across the organization.
  • Data Access and Entitlements: Oversee data access management strategies, ensuring that data entitlements are appropriately defined and enforced based on business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Lead the development and enforcement of data quality standards, monitoring, and improvement initiatives across the data lakehouse.
  • Reference and Master Data Management: Implement and manage reference and master data management solutions to ensure consistency and accuracy across the data ecosystem.
  • Data Privacy, Security, and Masking: Develop and enforce data privacy and security policies in alignment with industry regulations, ensuring that sensitive data is protected throughout its lifecycle.
  • Data Stewardship and Lifecycle Management: Establish and lead data stewardship programs, promoting best practices in data management and ensuring data assets are well-governed and maintained.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in data management, with a strong focus on cloud-based environments.
  • Skills: Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services and data lakehouse architecture, proven track record in metadata management, data governance, and data quality management, strong understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance in the financial domain.
