Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at SimVentions, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on creating innovative solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test software applications using Python and ROS2
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain software documentation, including user manuals and technical guides
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python and ROS2
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with C++ development for performance-critical code
  • Knowledge of Git and GitLab
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and/or Software-in-the-loop (SWIL) testing
