Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve their maximum potential and enhance their ability to perform daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Provide Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve clients' functional abilities and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
  • Educate Clients and Families: Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and strategies to support independence.
  • Monitor Progress: Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reports.
  • Participate in Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy: Possess a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • California State Licensure: Hold current California state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in School Settings: Have experience working in school settings.
  • Strong Clinical Assessment and Treatment Skills: Possess strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work Collaboratively: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Compassionate and Patient-Focused Approach: Possess a compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
