Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at SKLD Whitehall, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent care and customer service to residents on your unit
  • Assisting the nursing leadership team in planning, developing, and operating the facility
  • Assessing resident conditions and implementing interventions and care plans
  • Accurately documenting observations and care plans in Point Click Care
  • Ensuring facility medical records and policies are adhered to
  • Providing preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care to residents
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • CPR certification
  • One year of professional nursing experience in long-term care (desired but not required)
  • Knowledge of applicable state nursing regulations
