**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the administration of medications and treatments, take vital signs, and/or draw blood or collect other bodily fluids, as directed by a physician or nurse.
  • Bathe, groom, shave, and dress clients to ensure their personal hygiene and comfort.
  • Conduct activities for recreation and socialization to promote client engagement and well-being.
  • Ensure the safety and security of clients by monitoring their environment and responding to any emergencies.
  • Feed clients who are unable to feed themselves, promoting their nutritional needs and independence.
  • Observe and document patient data, behavior, and activity to inform care planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare clients for treatment or examination by assisting with their physical and emotional needs.
  • Provide clients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed to promote their mobility and independence.
  • Transport and/or accompany clients to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcher, as needed.
  • Receive additional training, as required, to gain full proficiency and experience in all areas.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
