Youth Development Mentor

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH is seeking a skilled Youth Development Mentor to join our team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children, helping them reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

As a Youth Development Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing educational, enrichment, and recreational activities for children. You will create a safe and engaging environment that fosters learning, growth, and development. Your dedication and passion for youth development will be essential in helping us achieve our mission.

• Develop and implement high-quality programs and activities that meet the needs of children
• Create a safe and inclusive environment that promotes socialization, teamwork, and respect
• Provide guidance, support, and feedback to children to help them build confidence, self-esteem, and life skills
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in program delivery
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in child development, education, or related field preferred
• Minimum 600 hours of experience working in a school-age program
• CPR and First Aid certifications required
• Ability to motivate and manage behavior problems in a group setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
