As a Physical Therapist III, you will assist in coordinating and managing the daily activities of the discipline-specific staff and students to ensure quality delivery of patient care services. You will participate in direct and consultative patient care, review and revise patient care and treatment procedures and policies on an ongoing basis, and provide ongoing performance feedback, address problems, orient and train employees, verify competency, and identify and suggest ways to develop skills.

You will also monitor and re-direct activities, as necessary, to maintain acceptable levels of productivity, participate in program design committees to ensure that the service commitments are in keeping with resource capability, state-of-the-art clinical practices, and fiscal efficiency, and perform routine and specialized procedures relating to therapy techniques.

Additionally, you will communicate regularly with members of the patient care team, the patient, family members, and others involved with the patient's care, and assist in the maintenance of discipline-specific records related to continuing education, personnel, charting, financial operations, and quality improvement.

Serves as a resource to medical staff, students, other allied health professionals, and support staff concerning the operations of the specific discipline, and participates in research activities being conducted within the organization.
