Job Overview

Mennel Milling Company is a leading flour milling company with over 135 years of experience. We are seeking a skilled Flour Mill Operator to join our team in grain production.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining all areas of production in the flour mill under the direction of the Head Miller/Shift Miller. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Follow food and personal safety rules and regulations, including GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Head Miller/Miller to process flour transfers according to quality department and customer specifications.
  • Perform quality analysis and food safety checks for flour transfers.
  • Assist with mill changes, daily operations, and equipment repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following SOPs and master sanitation schedule.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of flour milling, food production, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test and perform job duties while wearing a respirator.
