We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at the Defense Health Agency Civilian Corps in Falls Church, VA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric treatment services to children and adolescents, including inpatient, outpatient, and consultation services.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide individualized care to patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in hospital-approved training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and research.
- Provide professional consultation and education to other healthcare professionals and military personnel.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in psychiatry and board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- At least 5 years of experience in psychiatry, with a focus on child and adolescent psychiatry.
