Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to all customers
  • Ring up sales on the cash register accurately and efficiently
  • Perform multi-function operations of fuel consoles, lottery machines, and other equipment
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves
  • Assist with receiving and verifying vendor deliveries
  • Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses
  • Assist with maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in retail sales preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Ability to bend at waist with some twisting up to one hour
  • Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands

Working Conditions:

  • Perform approximately 95% of all work indoors
  • Exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer
  • Exposure to occasional noise

Physical Functions:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Ability to bend at waist with some twisting up to one hour
  • Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands
