As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing engineering calculations, preparing specifications, and conducting analyses on complex facility infrastructure systems. You will also review and approve drawings, ensure quality and completeness of infrastructure-related projects, and provide technical guidance to trades personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering calculations and prepare specifications for infrastructure systems.
  • Conduct analyses and testing on complex facility infrastructure systems.
  • Review and approve drawings for infrastructure-related projects.
  • Ensure quality and completeness of infrastructure-related projects.
  • Provide technical guidance to trades personnel working on mechanical systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of job-related experience.
  • Knowledge of government regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Working knowledge of building management systems such as CMMS and BAS.
  • Working knowledge of the operation and repair of chillers, boilers, motors, pumps, HVAC units, and UPS systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Professional Engineer registration in any state.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Government Security clearance.
