Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our dedicated team within a reputable school district in Ridgefield, CT. This role presents an excellent opportunity to enhance your speech therapy expertise while progressing in your professional journey.

As a Speech Therapist, you will provide essential speech therapy and rehabilitation services to students, demonstrating a genuine commitment to fostering educational advancement for each child.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
2. Identify treatment indications and contraindications, adjust therapy plans accordingly, and understand both typical and atypical responses.
3. Educate students and families as necessary, customizing traditional speech therapy methods to suit individual needs.
4. Maintain precise, clear, and thorough documentation of all relevant charting and paperwork.
5. Adhere to ASHA guidelines to ensure ethical and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications:
1. Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
2. Current BLS/CPR certification.
3. Minimum of 6 months of relevant SLP experience within the past 5 years.
