We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Knife River Care Center. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, developing therapy staff, and communicating effectively with physicians, staff, and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage rehabilitation services, including tracking Medicare assessments, daily treatment minutes, and RUG utilization.
- Develop and conduct in-service training programs for therapy staff.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and administrative teams.
- Oversee and direct restorative therapy staff and programs in collaboration with registered nurses.
- Genuine interest in geriatrics.
- Ability to work well with all levels of personnel in a supervisory capacity.
- Good judgment, initiative, and dependability.
- Good working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations in regards to therapy services.
