Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a proficient Cloud Solutions Architect to support one of our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing cloud strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring optimal cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute cloud strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Identify and leverage cloud technologies to foster innovation and competitive edge.
  • Design robust, secure, and scalable cloud architectures adhering to industry best practices.
  • Select suitable cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) based on specific business needs.
  • Ensure cloud architecture facilitates high availability, disaster recovery, and performance enhancement.
  • Lead the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Oversee the transition of on-premises applications and data to cloud environments.
  • Ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing IT frameworks.
  • Implement cloud security protocols to safeguard data and applications.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory mandates.
  • Develop and enforce cloud governance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and availability metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Implement cost-management strategies to maximize cloud expenditure efficiency.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance cloud operations.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for seamless cloud service integration.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.
  • Engage with vendors and service providers to assess and select cloud solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine cloud architecture and processes.
  • Participate in training and certification initiatives to bolster cloud expertise.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery strategies and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure regular testing and validation of disaster recovery protocols.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture and procedures.
  • Deliver regular reports on cloud performance, security, and cost metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in IT operations, particularly in cloud architecture and engineering, with expertise in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong grasp of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in cloud services, tools, and technologies.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and storage solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in cloud platforms such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
