Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandise Associate to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, engaging with customers and embodying our customer experience principles.
  • Support and promote our credit and loyalty programs.
  • Maintain and uphold our merchandising philosophy, following established procedures and standards.
  • Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor, adhering to company procedures and standards.
  • Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed, maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, adhering to all labor laws and policies.
  • Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, maintaining a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Retail customer experience preferred.

This position has a starting pay range of $ to $ per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
