Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterization and imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of the RN, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Assist physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, maintaining sterile conditions and operating imaging equipment.
  • Educate patients and families regarding the procedure, including pre and post-procedure physical conditions.
  • Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist RCIS within 18 months of hire, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV Specific certification, required.
  • RCIS or RCES, required.
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP), required.
  • ACLS and Surgical Technologist License with DORA obtained within 3 months of hire in state of Colorado, required.
